Dr. Theodor Foerster is a senior software developer at SAP headquarter building innovative software applications for enterprise customers at the frontline of Internet of Things (IoT) and geospatial services. Throughout his professional career he built software solutions for innovation management, logistics and environmental and cadastral management. He was a substantial contributor of Open Source Software at
52°North. He led the Sensor web, Web-based geoprocessing and Simulation Lab (
SWSL) at the Institute for Geoinformatics (
ifgi). He held various lectures at the University of Muenster and ETH Zurich for Java programming and GIS (Geographical Information Systems). He holds a PhD from the International Institute for Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation (
ITC) of the University of Twente for his work on geospatial services. Theodor holds a Diploma degree in Geoinformatics from the University of Muenster.
